(Duration: 50 minutes; LADWP Case Study: First 30 minutes)
During their quarterly webcast, the Oracle Primavera Special Interest Group (OPSIG) hosted EcoSys and our customer the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP).
LADWP is the United States' largest municipal utility. Their Water Engineering and Technical Services (WETS) Division uses a Capital Improvement Program Management System (CIPMS) to oversee and manage a ten-year capital water system program consisting of over 200 projects.
This case study discusses the system upgrade to EcoSys EPC which created an integration, reporting and analysis platform in the face of demands for greater cost accountability and government reporting. Specifics include automation across disparate systems to facilitate budgeting, forecasting, performance management and earned value management as well as the standardization of processes and templates across the Department.
